While the group was formed essentially as a social group, they took their pool seriously and the first compeition was played shortly thereafter; won by Guy Blaylock.

Thereafter, the competitions were organised quarterly, every three months, as summer, autumn, winter and spring tournaments.

Other members have come and gone, but the three founding members have remained though the years.
